Bio

David Hess, 54, formerly of Moberly, died at 11:20 last night in Benton Harbor, Mich. Born in Moberly, Mr Hess lived here until 1958 when he moved to Benton Harbor. He was employed by the Divans Cannery in St Joe, Mich. Mr Hess had been ill since April. He was a member of the Pentecostal Church. Surviving are his wife, Edith; three children, Mrs Peggy Hosmer, Mrs Judy Hornbarger, and Louie Hess, all of Benton Harbor, Mich.; four sisters, Mrs Minnie Young, Mrs Norine Staley and Mrs Edna Gravitt, all of Moberly and Mrs Maggie Johnson, Macon; five brothers, Fred, Manning, Thomas and John all fo Moberly and Darold, St Joseph; seven grandchildren and one step-grandson. Burial in Hagar Cemetery.
