Husand of Louise A. Schwettmann. The following obituary was published in the Herald Coaster on February 4, 1969: "Louis Kramer" Funeral services for Louis Kramer, 83, of Needville were held at 2 p.m. Saturday in Immanuel United Church of Christ in Needville with the Rev. Ed H. Welige officiating. Burial was in Greenlawn Memorial Park in Rosenberg. Mr. Kramer died at 3:50 p.m. Wednesday in Polly Ryon Memorial Hospital after a brief illness. He was a native of Washington County and had lived in Needville approximately 65 years. He was a retired farmer. Mr. Kramer was preceded in death by his wife in June of 1956. Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. M. W. Brinkmeyer of Needville and Mrs. C. H. Myska of Westminster, Calif.; five sons, Herbert Kramer and Helmuth Kramer, both of Houston, Nelson Kramer of Hamshire; Elmer Kramer of Needville, and Luther Kramer of Winnie; a brother, Gus Kramer of Needville, a sister, Miss Bertha Kramer of Needville; and 19 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. Pallbearers were Arnold Kramer, Alvin Kramer, Melvin Kramer, Elton Kramer, Wilburn Kramer and Wilbert Kramer. Funeral services were under the direction of Garmany & Co., Funeral Directors. * * * Xxxxxxxx Ludwig (Louis) Christian Wilhelm Heinrich Kramer was baptized July 26, 1885, and he was confirmed March 26, 1899, at Zion Lutheran Church in Zionsville, Washington County, Texas.
