The following obituary was published in the Herald Coaster on Tuesday, May 18, 1993: "Elmor 'Pistol' Kramer" Funeral services for Elmor "Pistol" Kramer, 70, of Needville are scheduled 10 a.m. Wednesday at Immanuel United Church of Christ. The Rev. George Kuebler will officiate, with burial at Greenlawn Memorial Park. Mr. Kramer died May 16 at Polly Ryon Memorial Hospital in Richmond. He was born Feb. 15, 1923. He worked as a farmer and rancher. He was a member of Immanuel United Church of Christ. Survivors include two daughters: Barbara Cooper and her husband Johnnie of Needville, and Maxine Stacey of Needville; two grandsons: Chris Legendre and Clint Legendre, both of Needville; a brother, Luther Kramer of Winnie; two sisters: Ore Nell Myska of Sugar Land and Esther Brinkmeyer of Needville; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, Lonie Mae Kramer. Memorials may be made to a favorite charity. Friends may call after 5 p.m. Tuesday at Garmany & Carden Funeral Home in Needville. Services are under the direction of Garmany & Carden Funeral Directors of Needville. * * *
