The following obituary was published in the Gulf Coast Tribune on October 16, 1983: "Bertha Kramer" Funeral services for Bertha Kramer, 80, were held at 2 p.m. Oct. 16 at Immanuel United Church of Christ in Needville with the Rev. Richard Avery officiating. She died Oct. 13 at Gulf Cost Medical Center in Wharton. Burial was in Needville public cemetery. She is survived by three sisters-in-law, Selma Kramer, Annie Kramer and Lena Kramer, all of Needville, and several nieces and nephews. * * *
