Funeral service were held for the native of Czechoslovakia on Thursday at 2 p.m. at the Czech Moravian Brethren Church. The Rev. F. J. Kostohryz officiated at the services. Burial was in the CMB Cemetery. Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Veronica Marek; three sons, Jim, Emil and Frank Marek of Abbott; five daughters, Mrs. Mollie Veselka and Mrs. Annie Veselka of Waco, Mrs. Velma Mikeska of Abbott; Mrs. Minnie Simcik of Temple, Mrs. Lillie Grazer of Dallas; three brothers, John Marek of Penelope, Joe and Rudolph Marek of Abbott, one sister, Miss Annie Marek of Abbott; 22 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. Pallbearers were Walter Marek, Frank Simcik, Adolf Veselka, Millie Ray Mikeska, Frank Veselka and Louis Veselka.
