Mrs. Mollie Veselka, 89, of 1025 East Broadway of Waco, died Sept. 13 at a Waco hospital. Services were at 10 a.m. Sept. 16 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Bellmead with Father Michael Mulvey officiating. Burial was at St. Mary's Cemetery in West. Rosary was recited at 7 p.m. Sept. 15 at Bellmead Funeral Home Chapel. Mrs. Veselka was born January 5, 1896 in Hill County. She was married to Frank Vesellka, Sr. He died in 1970. She lived on a farm near West for several years and had lived in Waco for over 44 years. She was a charter member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church and a member of KJZT of Bellmead. Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Ernest (Mollie) Phelps, Sr. of Axtell, Mrs. Bill (Mathilda) Nors of Northcrest and Mrs. Larry (Frances) Lednicky of Lacy Lakeview; two sons, Frank Veselka, Jr. of Waco and Tony Veselka of Lacy Lakeview; three sisters, Annie Veselka of Waco, Velma Mikeska of Alvarado and Lillian Graser of Dallas; one brother, Frank R. Marek of West; 18 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Pallbearers were her grandsons, Ernest Phelps, Jr., Richard Lednicky, David Lednicky, Stephen Nors, Edward Nors and Cecil Veselka.
