Herald Coaster, May 4, 1969: Funeral services for Mrs. Anna Hajdik, 89, of Rosenberg were held at 9:45 a.m. Wednesday in the Triska Funeral Home Chapel in Rosenberg and at 10 o'clock in Holy Rosary Catholic Church. Officiating were Rt. Rev. Msgr. J.J. Tydlacka and the Rev. Henry Rachunek. Burial was in the West Garden of Gethsemane. Mrs. Hajdik died about 10:15 p.m. Sunday in the Fort Bend Nursing Home. She was a member of the Altar Society, the S.P.J.S.T. and the K.J.Z.T. Survivors include two sons, Joe Hajdik and John Hajdik, both of Rosenberg; and eight daughters, Mrs. Frances Chovanec, Mrs. Agnes Kveton, Mrs. Rosalie Antrich, and Mrs. Georgia Krejci, all of Rosenberg, Mrs. Mary David, Mrs. Ann Pollock, and Mrs. Lillian Macha, all of Houston, and Mrs. Tillie Grigar of Sealy; and 45 grandchildren; and 52 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, George Hajdik, in 1945, and a daughter, Mrs. Cecelia David, in 1948. Pallbearers were Norbert Krejci, Jodie Hajdik, Johnnie Chovanec, Frankie David, Rudy Antrich Jr., and Willie Drabek. Funeral services were under the direction of Triska Funeral Home in Rosenberg.
