Mrs. Frank C. (Victoria) Polansky, 94, of Route 2, West, died Tuesday, May 18 in a local hospital. Rosary was recited at 7 p.m. Wednesday at Kotch Funeral Home Chapel. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Mary's Catholic Church, the Rev. Bob Hajovsky as celebrant. Burial was in St. Mary's Cemetery. Mrs. Polansky was born Dec. 14, 1887 in Czechoslovakia. She moved to West at the age of 15 months and lived in West the rest of her life. She was married to Frank C. Polansky in 1909. He died in 1955. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church of the Assumption, St. Mary's Altar-Rosary Society and KJZT Society No. 11. Survivors include four daughters, Mrs. Alfred (Mary) Brem, Miss Frances Polansky, Mrs. Jerry (Ruth) Kocurek and Mrs. Vitus (Rosalie) Kolar, all of West; four sons, John W. Polansky, George R. Polansky, and Jimmy J. Polansky, all of West and Alphonse Polansky of San Antonio; two sisters, Mrs. August (Stevie) Pustejovsky and Mrs. Nat (Anna) Mason, both of West; a brother, Louis J. Snokhous of West; 25 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren. Pallbearers were Charles Kolar, Robert Kocurek, David Polansky, Alfred F. Brem, III, Gary Polansky, and David Schroeder.
