Anton Rejcek of West Dies Saturday at Age of 98. Anton Rejcek, 98, of Route 1, West died Saturday in a West nursing home. Rosary was recited at 7:30 p.m. Monday at Kotch Funeral Home Chapel in West. Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Mary's Catholic Church in West, Rev. George Doskocil as celebrant. Burial followed in St. Mary's Cemetery in West. Mr. Rejcek was born in Czechoslovakia and came to the U.S. at age 11 settling in Praha until moving to West in 1907. He retired from farming in 1950. Mr. Rejcek's wife, Mary, died in 1954. He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church. Survivors include five sons, Raymond Rejcek of Hillsboro, Valentine Rejcek of Mertens, Antone V. Rejcek of Route 1 West, Louis Rejcek of Route 1 Covington and Bob Rejcek of Route 1 Bynum; four daughters, Mrs. Albert (Josephine) Sulak and Mrs. V. (Julie) Grmela, both of Hillsboro, Mrs. Luis (Mary) Pavelka of West and Mrs. Louis (Frances) Tichavsky of Mayfield; a brother, John Rejcek of Abbott; a sister, Mrs. Bessie Kaska of Bellmead; 36 grandchildren, 64 great-grandchildren, and 10 great-great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
