Death Claims Mrs. Mary Rejcek Death Claimed Mrs. Mary Rejcek, 74, a pioneer West Community resident, at her home on Route 1 Saturday. Funeral services were conducted Tuesday at 8:30 a.m. in Assumption Church by Rev. E.J. Polcak. Burial was in St. Mary's Cemetery. Rosary was recited Monday evening at Aderhold's Chapel. Mrs. Rejcek was the wife of a pioneer Czech farmer in this community. She was married to Anton Rejcek on November 6, 1902, in Moulton. The couple later moved to West and had lived on their farm 8 miles west of here on Route 1 for the past 47 years. They celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary in November 1952. At that time, Mrs. Rejcek was still in good health. Mrs. Rejcek is survived by her husband, Anton Rejcek; five sons, Raymond S. Rejcek of Hillsboro, V.P. Rejcek of Mertens, Anton V. Rejcek of West, Louis V. Rejcek of Covington and Bob Rejcek of Bonham; four daughters, Mrs. Albert S. Sulak of Hillsboro, Mrs. V.S. Grmela of Hillsboro, Mrs. Louis Pavelka of West and Mrs. Louis Tichavsky of Itasca; two sisters, Mrs. Tom Valenta of Wharton and Mrs. Julia Rebecek of El Campo; 23 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
