Funeral Services For Frank Bezdek Funeral services for Frank J. Bezdek, 68, of West were held at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday at St. Mary's Church of the Assumption in West, Msgr. I.J. Valenta an Rev. W. Pechal officiated. Burial was in St. Mary's Cemetery. Rosary was recited at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday in Kotch Funeral Home Chapel in West. Mr. Bezdek died at 11 p.m. Sunday in a Hillsboro hospital. Mr. Bezdek was born in West. He had lived in this area all his life. He was a retired farmer, a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church of the Assumption in West, and a member of KJT Lodge. Survivors include five brothers, Vaclav Bezdek, Joe Bezdek, Louis Bezdek, all of West, Willie Bezdek of Baton Rouge, La., Henry Bezdek of Alice; five sisters, Mrs. John Zatopek, Mrs. Ernest Snapka, both of Abbott, Mrs. A.C. Soukup of West, Mrs. Eddie Knapek and Mrs. Roman Snapka, both of Corpus Christi. Pallbearers were Albin Sulak, Pete Sykora, Harry Lichnovsky, Albin Dvoracek, Cyril Svrcek, and August Sulak, all of West.
