Mrs. Snokhous, Age 74, Dies Mrs. Joe J. (Frances) Snokhous, 74, of West died Sunday in West Community Hospital. Rosary was recited at 7:30 p.m. Monday at Kotch Funeral Home Chapel in West. Mass of Christian burial was celebrated at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Mary's Catholic Church in West, Rev. William Benish as celebrant. Burial followed in St. Mary's Cemetery in West. Mrs. Snokhous was born in Fayette County, but had lived the last 68 years in the West area. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in West. Her husband, Joe J. Snokhous, died Jan. 26, 1971. Survivors include three sons, Willie Snokhous, Henry (Hambone) Snokhous and Jimmy Snokhous, all of West; a daughter, Mrs. Ella Mae Crozier of Arlington; three brothers, Elo Zatopek of West, John Zatopek of Abbott and Ed Zatopek of Milwaukee, Wisc.; four sisters, Mrs. Lillian Brooks of Texarkana, Tex., Mrs. Julie Lowenstein of Houston, Mrs. Mary Gaidusek and Mrs. Annie Bezdek, both of West; 15 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Pallbearers were David Snokhous, Tim Snokhous, Eddie Snokhous, Dwain Snokhous, Jerry Faughtenberry, and Royce Zatopek.
