Requiem Mass Held Thurs. For Anton Zatopek Anton Zatopek, 63, of Mt. Calm, died Tuesday morning. Rosary was recited at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday in Kotch Funeral Home Chapel in West. Requiem Mass was celebrated at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Mary's Catholic Church of the Assumption in West with Rev. B.J. Zientek as celebrant. Burial was in St. Mary's Cemetery in West. Mr. Zatopek was born in Rosenberg and had lived in Penelope before moving to the Mt. Calm area about 30 years ago. He was a member of the Catholic Church of Nativity in Penelope, KJT Society of Penelope and SPJST Lodge No. 66. He was a farmer. Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Mrs. Cecil (Diana) Smith of Arlington; four brothers, W.A. Zatopek and Elo Zatopek of West, John Zatopek of Abbott and Eddie Zatopek of Milwaukee, Wis.; five sisters, Mrs. Vaclav (Annie) Bezdek, Mrs. Joe (Frances) Snokhous and Mrs. Joe (Mary) Gaidusek of West, Mrs. Joe (Julia) Lowestein of Houston and Mrs. Lillian Lusk of Texarkana. Pallbearers were Donald Zatopek, Royce Zatopek, Johnny Zatopek, Clyde Stijansky, Leon Stacha and Ernest Konvicka.
