Bio
Miss Julia Barbara Zatopek and Joseph Bernard Loewenstein were married on 1 Dec 1951 by Rev. John J. Brady, M.S., Pastor, St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church, 6220 La Salette, Houston, Texas. She and Joe had one known child, a daughter, Monica Ann Loewenstein, born 30 Sept 1954 in Harris County. She married William Bernard Kelly on 15 July 1972 and they moved to Canon City, Colorado where presumably, Julia went after Joe died. The SS Death Index shows that as her last residence. Julia served in the Army from 3 April 1941 until her discharge on 6 Feb 1946. In 1950 she was living in Houston and working as a private nurse in a hospital. She had a house and another woman working as a nurse was lodging with her.
