Joseph Makovy Funeral Service June 15th Joseph J. Makovy, 86, of West died at 1:20 a.m. Wednesday. Funeral services will be held at 9 a.m. Friday at the Church of the Assumption in West, Father George Doskocil officiating. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery. Rosary will be recited Thursday at 8 p.m. at his residence, 511 So. Marable St. Survivors: His widow; two sons, Frank Makovy of Waco and Joe J. Makovy, Jr. of Abbott, four daughters, Mrs. Mary Marek of West, Mrs. Sophie Beseda of Penelope, Mrs. Christine Rejcek of Penelope, Miss Willie Mae Makovy of West; one brother, John Makovy of Abbott; one sister, Mrs. Joe Strnadel of Abbott; 32 grandchildren, 48 great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be his grandchildren: John Beseda, George Rejcek, Albert Rejcek, Cyrill Marek, Edward Makovy, Marvin Matus. Aderhold Funeral Home is in charge.
