Mrs. Strnadel Of West Dies; Rites Friday Mrs. Barbara Strnadel of West died Wednesday night in a Waco hospital. She was 84. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, Jan. 22, at St. Mary's Church of Assumption with interment in St. Mary's Cemetery. Rosary was recited at 7:30 p.m. Thursday at Aderhold Chapel. Mrs. Strnadel was the former Barbara Makovy. She was born in Czechoslovakia on Oct. 7, 1883. She was a member of Church of the Assumption in West. She had lived in West seven years. Mrs. Strnadel was a member of the Altar Society and Rosary Society of the church. She married Joe Strnadel in 1901. He died seven years ago. She is survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Johnny Kabella, Bernard Lenart, Alphonse and Frank Marek, Danny Urbanovsky, and Bennie Mynar.
