Bio
Mary was the second oldest of the 12 children of Adolph Domel and Selma Kalmbach. She was also the first of her sibling group to pass away. She married Alvin Felix Schwertner, 28 Jul 1933 in Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Corn Hill, TX. The couple had five children: Anton Paul, Robert Melvin, Mary Ann (m. Pausewang), Clifford Edward, and Jeannette Marie (m. Nemec). ------------------------------------------------------------------- SCHWERTNER, Mrs. Mary of Rt.1, Bartlett. Age 65. Died 3/1/1973 (Thursday morning) in Georgetown nursing home. Funeral services were held (Friday) at 2 p.m. at SS Cyril and Methodius Catholic Church in Granger. Burial was in the Holy Cross Mausoleum at Granger. The Rev. George Tydlacka officiated. SURVIVORS: Husband, Alvin Schwertner; 2 daughters; 3 sons; 6 sisters; 5 brothers, including Robert Domel, and 12 grandchildren.
