Bio
ALICE RUTH DOMELHOLDERRIETH, beloved mother, grandmother, sister and friend, passed from this earth into the arms of our Lord November 13, 2009. She was born November 10, 1924 in Weir, Texas, to Adolph and Selma Domel. She married Vernon Holderrieth on October 27, 1951, and he preceded her in death December 2007. She is survived by her daughters and their husbands Brenda and Hal Doerre and Marilyn and John McShan; grandsons Cody and Chance McShan and Sean Doerre; sisters Leona Hallmark and Elizabeth Marak; and sister-in-law Lorene Domel. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents; brothers A.G., Adolph, Robert, Bert, and George Domel; sisters Macy Schwertner, Minnie Herzog, Hulda Marburger and Selma Noack. Viewing will be Monday from 12-9 p.m., and the family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. The funeral service will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m. at Zion Lutheran Church, Tomball. Interment will follow at Klein Memorial Park. For those so desiring, memorials may be made to Zion Lutheran Church or Lutheran Hour Ministries.
