Heinrich Johann (Adolph Jr) Domel was the 5th of the 12 surviving children of Adolph Domel Sr and Selma Kalmbach. He never married or had children. He along with his brothers Robert and Bert, as well as his brothers-in-law Vernon Holderreith, Johnny Marak, and Al Hallmark, served in the Army during WW2. Adolph Jr was an aide to a general in the Army Air Corps. After the war along with farming he drove the school bus, and so was well known and popular with the families of the community. DOMEL, Adolph Henry, Jr. of Rt. 2, Georgetown. Age 75. Died 4/16/1987. Services held 4/18 (Sat.) in Mt. Zion Lutheran Church in Walburg. Burial in the Zion Lutheran Cemetery. Rev. Lowell Rossow officiated. Davis Funeral Home of Georgetown in charge of arrangements. He was BORN 7/23/1911, the son of Adolph and Selma Domel. Retired farmer. Nephews were pallbearers. 3 brothers and a sister preceded him in death. SURVIVORS: Brother, Robert Domel of Thorndale; 6 sisters, Minnie Herzog, Hulda Marburger, Elizabeth Marak and Selma Noack, all of Georgetown; Leona Hallmark of Beaumont, Alice Holderrieth of Hockley.
