Eula Florence Srarrett Funeral Services for Eula Florence Starrett ,87,171 Spence St.,are set for 11 a.m.Saturday ,Aug.12 ,at the Murray- Orwosky Funeral Home Chapel with Rev.Danny Stewart officiating and the Rev.Don Goodassisting. Burial will be in the Reilly Springs Cemetery with grandsons serving as pallbearers , The family will receive friends from 7-9 p.m.Friday Aug.11at the funeral home . Mrs.Starrett died at 5:30a.m.Thursday ,Aug.10,at the Leisure Lodge Nursing Home . She was born June 3 ,1902 in Hopkins County ,the daughter of Frank and Nobie Whatley Ponder . She was married to Carl Starrett Nov.27,1921 ,in Hopkins County . He survives of Sulphur Springs . She was a homemaker and a member of the First Christian Church . Other survivors include three sons ,Carl J. Starrett ,Lenox ,Mass.;Frank Starrett ,Yantis :and Benny Starrett ,Mesquite ;two daughters ,Betty Story ,Dallas and Melba Vaughan,Arlington; one brother ,Robert Ponder ,Commerce :15 grandchildren ;and eight great-grandchildren.
