Duval Ponder Duval Ponder ,74,of Reilly Springs died Monday at 4:35 p.m.at the Sulphur Springs Nursing Home . He was born Feb.16 1906 in Reilly Springs to Frank and Zenobia Whatley Ponder . Mr. Ponder married Reba Stunkard in Mt.Vernon Nov.8,1929. He was a retired farmer . Services will be conducted at 2:30 p.m.,Wednesday in the Reilly Springs United Methodist Church with the Rev.Larry Baxley officiating .Burial will be in the Reilly Springs cemetery . Survivors include his wife ;a son J.D.Ponder of Reilly Springs ; Three daughters ,Mrs.Ann Minyard of Reilly Springs and Mrs Bobbie Durr and Mrs. Francis Gusmus ,both of Dallas ;two brothers ,Fred Ponder of Shirley and Robert Ponder of Commerce ; a sister ,Mrs.Eula Starrett of Sulphur Springs;eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren Serving as pallbearers will be Jessie Williams ,Grover H.Bailey ,Finis Attlesey ,Bodie Watkins ,Dosier Thornton ,and Robert Bailey . The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the Murray -Orwosky Funeral Home . Sulphur Springs News Paper
