Bio

Son of James Wilson Simpson and Rosanna Elliott, husband of Maggie Cora Kifer Funeral services for Benton H. Simpson, 63, highly esteemed resident of Scotch Hill will be conducted at 2 o'clock this afternoon in the Scotch Hill M. E. Church, with Rev. R. C. Heileburg officiating. Burial will be in the family plot in the church cemetery. Mr. Simpson was born June 10, 1871, at Scotch Hill, a son of the late James and Rosanna Simpson. He died at 9:30 i'clock Monday evening after an extended illness. Surviving are the widow, Mrs. Maggie Simpson, and the following children: Mrs. Sarah Watkins, Tylersburg; Mrs. Clara Nulph, Scotch Hill, and Lee and Rebecca at home.
