Son of Benton Howard Simpson and Maggie Cora Kifer, husband of Mollie M. Lyons ............................................................... Leigh E. Simpson, 64, of Scotch Hill died Saturday, May 3, at his home. Born June 21, 1903, in Gravel Lick, he was the son of Benton Howard and Maggie Kifer Simpson. He was married April 28, 1926 to the former Mary Lyons, who survives. Mr. Simpson was a member of the Scotch Hill United Methodist Church. In addition to his wife, he is survived by one son, Bennie of Leeper and one daughter, Mrs. Frank (Joyce) Lignelli of Clarion; five grandchildren; and three sisters, Mrs. Harry (Clara) Nulph of Scotch Hill; Mrs. Rebecca Hall, Tylersburg and Mrs. Sarah Watkins, Grand Island, N.Y. Funeral services were held at 3:30 p.m. Tuesday from the Goble Funeral Home in Clarion. The Rev.
