Herald Coaster, November 22, 2002: Funeral services for Louise Jeske, 96, of Needville will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 23 at St. Paul's Presbyterian Church, 9122 Church St. in Needville with the Rev. Allan C. Anderson officiating the service. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Friday, Nov. 22 at Garmany & Carden Funeral Chapel, 3103 School St. in Needville. Mrs. Jeske passed away Thursday, Nov. 21 at Polly Ryon Skilled Care Center in Richmond. She was born Jan. 20, 1906 in Fort Bend County to parents, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Schwettmann. She is survived by her daughter, Ruby Straznicky and her husband, Emil, of Needville; her grandchildren, Murray Straznicky and his wife, Cathy, of Needville, Dr. Rick Straznicky and his wife, Belinda, of East Bernard; great grandchildren, Steve, Stuart, Adam, Kasi and Mindy Straznicky; sisters, Hilda Kalinowski, Leola Schmidt, Erna Sury and a sister-in-law, Rosie Schwettmann of Needville and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Fritz Jeske, five sisters and five brothers. Memorial gifts may be made to St. Paul's Presbyterian Church, P.O. Box 389, Needville, Texas, 77461.
