Alfred Herman Schutza 1st married Albina Hykel on January 8, 1924. She died on August 12, 1933. Alfred next married Flora Emily Havemann on December 27, 1934 at Waco, McLennan County, Texas. ********************* Alfred H. Schutza, Sr., age 87, of 111 Woodforest Drive in Elm Mott, passed away late Sunday evenine, October 22, 1989 at West Community Hospital. Funeral services were held 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Bellmead, with Rev. Walter Albers officiating. Burial followed in Gerald Cemetery. Mr. Schutza was born on December 5, 1901, in McLennan County, the son of Charlie and Annie Schutza. He married Flora Emily Havemann on December 27, 1934 in Waco. Prior to retiring in 1952 he was a farmer and had had worked for Missouri-Kansas-Texas Rail Road. He was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Bellmead. Survivors include his wife, Flora Schutza of Elm Mott; three sons, Lawrence Schutza of West, Gene Schutza of Waco and Alfred Schutza Jr. of Scottsdale, Arizona; three daughters, Mrs. Doris Martin of Fort Worth, Mrs. Carol Snider of Waco and Mrs. Shirley Hooper of Austin; one brother, Henry Schutza of Fort Worth; four sisters, Christine Herzog, Emma Young and Albina Hill, all of Waco, and Elsie Grochoske of Burleson; twelve grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Pallbearers were Steve Randles, Doug Schutza, Jr., Michael Girard, Chris Schutza, Scott Randles, and Darrell Hooper. Memorials may be made to St. Paul's Lutheran Church. Survivors include his wife; three sons, Lawrence Schutza of West, Gene Schutza of Waco and Alfred Schutza Jr. of Scottsdale, Ariz.; three daughters, Doris Martin of Fort Worth, Carol Snider of Waco and Shirley Hooper of Austin; a brother, Henry Schutza of Fort Worth; four sisters, Christine Herzog, Emma Young and Albina Hill, all of Waco and Elsie Grochoske of Burleson; 12 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
