Funeral services for Ben A. Schutza of Route 1, Elm Mott, will be at St. Paul's United Church of Christ in Gerald at 2 p.m. Thursday, Rev. Otto Marshall will officiate. Burial will be in Gerald Cemetery. Mr. Schutza was dead on arrival at a West hospital Tuesday after becoming ill at his home. He was 68. Mr. Schutza was born in Tours May 24, 1903. He was a retired grocery store and service station operator. he had worked for General Tire and Rubber Co. in Waco several years. He was a member of St. Paul's United Church of Christ in Gerald. He married the former Miss Freda Kuehne Dec. 18, 1927. Mr. Schutza lived in Elm Mott most of his life. Survivors are his wife; a daughter, Mrs. Floyd (Evelyn) Kelinski of Route 1, Elm Mott; three brothers, Alfred Schutza and Edwin Schutza, both of Route 1, Elm Mott, and Henry Schutza of Fort Worth; one sister, Mrs. Christine Herzog of Waco; three half sisters, Mrs. Emma Young and Mrs. Albina Hill, both of Waco, and Mrs. Elsie Grochoske of Burleson; and four grandchildren.
