Lina Anna Leuschner was baptized in Germany, and she was confirmed on March 25, 1894, at St. Peter's Evangelical Church near West, Texas. Lina Anna Leuschner first married Charles H. Schutza on Dec. 17, 1900, at St. Peter's Evangelical Church near West. After his death in 1913, Annie married Henry Landfried. ANNIE Mrs. Annie Landfried, 76, of West died in a Waco hospital at 5:30 a.m. Sunday. Funeral services will be at 2:30 p.m. Monday at St. Paul's Evangelical and Reformed Church at Gerald, Rev. William Wuertz officiating, burial in Closner Cemetery. Survivors include five sons, Ben Schutza of Elm Mott, Henry Schutza of Fort Worth and Alfred Schutza, Charles Schutza and Edwin Schutza, all of West; four daughters, Mrs. Christine Herzog, Mrs. Emma Young and Mrs. Albina Hill, all of Waco, and Mrs. Elsie Grochoske of Alvin; a sister, Mrs. Gus Drews, Sr., of Elm Mott; 23 grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren. The body will lie in state at the church an hour prior to service. Pallbearers are Gilbert Schutza, Lawrence Schutza, Gary Schutza, Dennis Schutza, Glenn Schutza, and Adrian Kuehne. Mrs. Landfried was born August 30, 1879, in Germany and came to the United States with her family when she was two years old. The family settled at West and she had lived here since. She was a member of St. Paul's Evangelical and Reform Church at Gerald and was active in church work. Survivors include five sons, Paul Schutza of Elm Mott, Henry Schutza of Fort Worth, and Alfred Schutza, Charles Schutza and Edwin Schutza all of West; four daughters, Mrs. Christine Herzog, Mrs. Emma Young, and Mrs. Albina Hill, all of Waco, and Mrs. Elsie Grochoske of Alvin; a sister, Mrs. Gus Drews, Sr. of Elm Mott; 25 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
