Dorothy L. Krantz, 79, of 970 Marshall, Morton, died at 3:25 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 25, 2006, at Methodist Medical Center in Peoria. She was born Sept. 4, 1927, in Allentown, Ill., to Samuel and Elsie Schmidt Landes. She married Jack F. Krantz on Dec. 1, 1946, in Goodfield. Surviving are her husband of Morton; one son, Gregory (and Stacy) Krantz of Morton; one daughter, Angela (and Tony) Clark of Morton; seven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; two brothers, Raymond (and Katherine) Landes of Morton and Gilbert (and Barbara) Landes of Atlanta, Ga.; and three sisters, Mabel Adams of Salt Lake City, Utah, Florence Mabee of Peoria and Elsie (and Richard) England of Circleville, Ohio. She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers; and three sisters. Dorothy was a member of the Morton Apostolic Christian Church. -----------------------
