Crosby Courier; Crosby, Minnesota; Wednesday, February 1, 1956 SERVICES HELD TUESDAY FOR MR BUCHANAN Father Dolsina conducted funeral services for Harry Buchanan, 76, a Deerwood resident who died at Miners Hospital on Friday, Jan 27. The service was held at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Crosby at 9a.m. Tuesday with burial at the cemetery in Aitkin (St Thomas) A rosary was held Monday evening at the Koop Funeral Home in Crosby. A resident of Deerwood community for the past several years. Mr Buchanan was born in DeWitt, Iowa on Feb 10, 1879. He was a member of the Foresters Lodge in Aitkin. Surviving are a sister, May, in Minneapolis, four brothers, Fred of Chatfield, Paul of Nome, ND; Mark of Jamestown, ND and Lee of Minneapolis
