WEST - Mrs. Martha B. Rejcek, 86, of West passed away Monday morning, Jan. 5, 2004, a a West nursing home. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Mary's Church of the Assumption, with the Rev. Ed Karasek as celebrant. Burial will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery. Rosary will be recited at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at Kotch Funeral Home Chapel by the Rev. Vincent Chacko. Mrs. Rejcek was born July 27, 1917, in Ross, and had lived in the Ross and West area all of her life. She married Louis L. Rejcek on Oct. 25, 1939, in West. She was a member of St. Mary's Church of the Assumption in West and the K.J.Z.T. Society No. 11. She was a homemaker and assisted her husband on the farm for more than 50 years. Mrs. Rejcek enjoyed cool=king for her family, weddings, and church functions. She was preceded in death by her husband on July 30, 1986. Survivors include her son, Eugene F. Rejcek of West; daughter, Rose Kreder and husband, Robert of Elm Mott; brothers, Emil Soukup and Walter Soukup, both of West; sisters, Lucille Soukup and Sophie Piscacek, both of West; grandchildren, Lori Nors, Kelly Ryan, and Shawn Rejcek; great-grandchildren, Matthew, Whitney and Natalie Nors and Jacob and Chad Ryan; and several nieces and nephews.
