Bio

WEST - Lucille Lillie Soukup, 94, of West passed away Wednesday morning, Oct. 13, 2004, at West Rest Haven. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Friday at St. Mary's Church of the Assumption with the Rev. Ed Karasek as celebrant. Burial will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery in West. Rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. Thursday by the Rev. Vincent Chacko at Kotch Funeral Home Chapel in West. Miss Soukup was born April 27, 1910, near West and had been a resident of the West area all of her life. She was a member of St. Mary's Church of the Assumption in West, and KJZT Society No. 11 of West. She was a great sister and aunt and loved to cook and sew. She managed a 300-acre farm while her five brothers were in the service during WWII. Miss Soukup was preceded in death by her parents; and 11 brothers and sisters. She is survived by two brothers, Emil and Walter Soukup of West; and numerous nieces and nephews. Obituary from Kotch Funeral Home, West, Texas
