Services Held Saturday For Mrs. S. Bezdek Mrs. Susie Bezdek, 85, of Route 1, West, died at 8 p.m. last Thursday in a Hillsboro hospital. Requiem mass was celebrated at 9 a.m. Saturday in St. Mary's Catholic Church of the Assumption with Rev. George Doskocil as celebrant. Burial was in St. Mary's Cemetery. Rosary was recited at 7 p.m. Friday in Kotch Funeral Home Chapel. Mrs. Bezdek was born in Fayette County and had lived in West the past 80 years. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, the Altar-Rosary Society and the KJZT Lodge No. 11 of West. She married Charles Bezdek on Sept. 26, 1899, in West. Mr. Bezdek died in 1953. Survivors are two sons, L.D. Bezdek of West and Frank J. Bezdek of Mesquite; six daughters, Mrs. John (Annie) Pustejovsky, Mrs. Frank (Rosa) Kallus, Mrs. Ed (Helen) Petter, all of Abbott, Mrs. Marie Pennock of Fort Worth and Mrs. Louis (Christine) Cepak and Mrs. E.M. (Lucille) Kutscherousky of West; two sisters, Mrs. Rozina Urbanovsky of Abbott, and Mrs. Julia Chudej of West; 24 grandchildren; 55 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren. Pallbearers were Ernest Bezdek and Charles Kutscherousky of West, Henry Pustejovsky of Abbott, Raymond Kallus of Dallas, Marvin Cepak of Waxahachie and Edward Petter of Waco.
