Death of Mrs. J. P. Kohut Death claimed another of West's oldest citizens when Mrs. J.P. Kohut passed away August the ninth. Mrs. Kohut came to West from Fayetteville, Texas thirty-five years ago and has proven herself a loyal citizen in every way. All of her children, with the exception of one, were present at the time of her death. Funeral services were conducted at the house and at the Catholic church, Rev. Father Pelnar officiating. Many friends will miss Mrs. Kohut and the News extends sympathy to the children and father in their bereavement.
