Mrs. John (Annie) Pustejovsky, age 90 of Abbott, passed away Monday evening, March 11, 1991 in West Community Hospital. Rosary was recited at 7 p.m. Wednesday in the Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church, Abbott. Mass of Christian burial was celebrated at 10 a.m. Thursday in the Immaculate Heart or Mary Catholic Church, Abbott; with Rev. John Molnar as celebrant. Burial followed in Fatima Cemetery, Abbott. Mrs. Pustejovsky was born July 6, 1900 in West and had lived in Abbott for the past 69 years. She was a member of the Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church in Abbott, the K.J.Z.T. Society #104 of Abbott and the St. Ludmila Altar Society. She married John Pustejovsky November 25, 1919 at West. He preceded her in death July 19, 1972. Mrs. Pustejovsky is survived by five sons: Frank and Henry Pustejovsky, both of Hillsboro, Wesley Pustejovsky of Houston, Clement Pustejovsky of Kansas City, Missouri and Johnnie Pustejovsky of Rt. 1, Abbott; one daughter, Mrs. John J. (Christine) Polansky of Rt. 2, West; one brother, Frank J. Bezdek of Colorado Springs, Colorado; one sister, Mrs. E. M. (Lucille) Kutscherousky of West; 33 grandchildren, 58 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren. Pallbearers were: William Polansky, Patrick Pustejovsky, Charlie Pustejovsky, Nick Pustejovsky, Dan Pustejovsky and Dennis Pustejovsky. The family has designated that memorials be made to the Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church Building Fund. Kotch Funeral Home in West was in charge of arrangements. The West News, Volume 101.
