Mrs. Ed (Helen) Petter Mrs. Ed (Helen) Petter, 69, of Route 2, Abbott, died Sunday, March 18 at a local hospital. Mass of Christian burial was celebrated at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church, the Rev. William Sprong as celebrant. Burial was at Fatima Cemetery. Rosary was recited at 7:30 p.m. Monday at Kotch Funeral Home Chapel in West. Mrs. Petter was born Jan. 13, 1915, in West, and lived in the West and Abbott areas all of her life. She was married to Ed Petter in 1934. She was a member of Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church, the church Altar Society and KJZT Society of Abbott. Survivors include her husband, two sons, Edward Petter Jr. of Waco and Raymond Petter of Houston: a daughter, Joyce Nors of Route 2, West; a brother, Frank Bezdek of Colorado; three sisters, Annie Pustejovsky of Abbott and Marie Pennock and Lucille Kutscherousky, both of West; seven grandchildren; and a great-grandchild. Pallbearers were Frank Pustejovsky, Gene Lednicky, Albin Kallus, Thomas Petter, Ernest Bezdek and Marvin Cepak.
