Anton (Tony) Veselka of Lacy-Lakeview, a retired carpenter for B&L Lumber Co., died Monday, July 25, 1994, at a nursing home. He was 75. A rosary was recited Tuesday night at the Bellmead Funeral Home Chapel. Mass of Christian burial was at 9 a.m. Wednesday at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, the Rev. Timothy Vaverek officiating. Burial followed in St. Mary's Cemetery in West. Mr. Veselka was born Nov. 19, 1918 in Menlow. He was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church. Survivors include his wife, Anna Veselka; one daughter, Carolyn A. Krolczyk of Hewitt; four sons, Albert Veselka of Hewitt, Matthew Veselka of Robinson, Michael Veselka and Cecil Veselka, both of Waco, three sisters, Dorothy Phelps, Matilda Nors, and Frances Lednicky, all of Waco; one brother, Frank Veselka of Waco; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Pallbearers were John Paul Bayer, Dale Krolczyk, Jerry Veselka, Leonard Christensen, Edward Nors and Richard Lednicky.
