Bio

Mrs. Sternadel is Buried Here Monday Mrs. Rosalie Sternadel, age 62, died in a Waco hospital at 1 a.m. Friday. Funeral services were held at the Catholic church in West at 9:30 a.m. Monday, Rev. E. J. Polcak officiating. Burial was in the Catholic cemetery. Pall bearers were Albert Vrana, Jodie Tobola, Henry Tobola, Ben Marek, Adolph Walla and Bill Kucera. Mrs. Sternadel was born in Czechoslovakia. She came to this community when she was 16 years of age and had resided here since that time. Surviving are her husband, Franki Sternadel of West; four daughters, Mrs. Jim Vrana of Lacy Lakeview, Mrs. John Reiter of West, Mrs. Willie Veselka of West and Miss Martha Sternadel of West; one son, T/Sgt. Walter Sternadel, U.S. Army; two sisters, Mrs. Johanna Walla of West and Mrs. Agnes Kucera of Corpus; three brothers, John and Ignac Sykora of West, Charlie Sykora of Bruceville; six grandchildren.
