Ignac Sykora, Retired Farmer, Dies Sunday Ignac John Sykora, 83, died at 6:20 a.m. Sunday, March 29, at his home in Bellmead. Funeral services were held at 9 a.m. Tuesday in the Church of the Assumption in West. Rev. Brennan officiated. Burial was in St. Mary's Cemetery in West. Rosary was recited at 7:30 p.m. Monday at Aderhold-Moore Chapel at West. Mr. Sykora had lived in Bellmead about a year. He was a retired farmer and was a member of the Catholic Church. Survivors are his wife; seven sons, Ignac J. Sykora, Jr., of Galveston, Eugene Sykora, Raymond Sykora, Joe Sykora and Frank Sykora, all of Corpus Christi, John Sykora and William Sykora, both of Bellmead; three daughters, Mrs. Mary Grones of West, Mrs. Janie Titus of Bellmead and Mrs. Elizabeth Bounds of Waco; a brother, Charlie Sykora of Waco; two sisters, Mrs. Agnes Kucera of Corpus Christi and Mrs. Johanna Walla of West; 25 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
