Funeral Held For John E. Stanislav Wed. Morning A life-time resident of West, John E. Stanislav, died in a Waco hospital Monday night at 9 o'clock. Funeral services were held at 9 o'clock at the residence and at 9:30 o'clock in the morning Wednesday at the Catholic Church of the Assumption. Mr. Stanislav, who was 68 years of age at the time of is death was a retired farmer. He had been ill for a number of months. The Rev. Father E.J. Polcak officiated at the services. Burial was in the St. Mary's Cemetery under the direction of Aderhold's Funeral Home. Rosary services were recited at the residence on Tuesday night at 8 o'clock. Mr. Stanislav was a member of the Knights of Columbus. Survivors are his wife; four brothers, Dr. Frank Stanislav of Waco, A.C. Stanislav, Joe Stanislav, and Rudolph Stanislav all of West; and two sisters, Miss Bertha Stanislav and Mrs. Mary Opella of West.
