Mrs. Stanislav Dies Thursday; Rites Pending Mrs. Bertha Stanislav, 73, died at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, April 15, in a Hillsboro hospital. Mrs. Stanislav was taken to the hospital on March 21. Rites are pending at Kotch Funeral Home in West. The West News, West, Texas, Volume 74, No. 51, Edition 1, Friday, April 16, 1965, page 1. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Bertha Stanislav Dies; Funeral Held April 19 Miss Bertha Stanislav, 73, of 400 S. Harrison St., died at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, April 15, in a Hillsboro hospital. Miss Stanislav entered the hospital March 21. Funeral services were held at 9:30 a.m. Monday in St. Mary's Catholic Church of Assumption. Msgr. I.J. Valenta officiated. Burial was in St. Mary's Cemetery. Rosary was recited at 7 p.m. Sunday in Kotch Funeral Home Chapel. Miss Stanislav is survived by a sister, Mrs. Mary Opella of West; a brother, August Stanislav of West, and several nieces and nephews.
