Dr. Fr. Stanislav Dies; Rites To Be Friday In Waco Requiem Mass for Dr. Frank J. Stanislav, veteran Waco physician, will be said at 11 a.m. Friday in Saint Mary's Church of the Assumption, Waco. Rev. Mark Deering will officiate. Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery. Dr. Stanislav became ill about 9 a.m. Wednesday and died at noon in a Waco hospital following a heart attack. He was 74. Rosary was recited at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, July 6, in Connally Chapel. Dr. Stanislav was born in West, November 13, 1886. He graduated from St. Louis University Medical School in 1916 and entered the army. In 1919 he returned to Waco and opened an office in the Professional Building. He maintained a surgery and general medicine practice until he retired a year ago. Dr. Stanislav served for 25 years as an instructor at Providence Hospital School of Nursing. Survivors include his wife; one daughter, Mrs. Scott Heltzel of Tulsa, Oklahoma; two brothers, August S. Stanislav and Rudolph Stanislav, both of West; two sisters, Miss Bertha S. Stanislav and Mrs. Mary Opella, both of Wet, and three grandsons. Active pallbearers will be Robert Stanislav, Joe R. Stanislav, Fred Stanislav, Jerry Stanislav, Norbert Stanislav and Louis Wernet.
