Requiem Mass To Be Friday For Rudolf Matus Requiem mass for Rudolf Matus, Sr. of West will be at St. Mary's Catholic Church of the Assumption at 10 a.m. Friday. Rev. George Doskocil will officiate. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery. Rosary was recited at Kotch Chapel in West at 7 p.m. Thursday. Mr. Matus, 67, died in a Hillsboro hospital at 10:55 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 20. Mr. Matus was a retired farmer. He was born at West and had lived in this area all his life. He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church of the Assumption and KJT Lodge No. 31 of West for 49 years. Mr. Matus married Miss Emillie Krenek of Penelope in 1926. Surviving are his wife; four sons, Raymond Matus, Daniel Matus, Rudolf Matus, Jr., and Herman Matus of West; one daughter, Mrs. George (Eileen) Soukup of Ross; three brothers, Frank Matus and Henry Matus of West and Ed Matus of Waco; four sisters, Mrs. Joe (Anna) Petter of Abbott, Mrs. Otto (Agnes) Hanak, Sr. and Mrs. Frank C.
