Mary Machovsky Of West Dies Mrs. Mary Machovsky, 82, of 300 Haven died at 9:30 a.m. Friday in West Community Hospital. Rosary was recited at 7:30 p.m. Saturday at Kotch Funeral Home. Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at 2 p.m. Sunday in St. Mary's Catholic Church in West, the Rev. William Benish as celebrant. Burial followed in St. Mary's Cemetery. Mrs. Machovsky was born in West and had lived in the area all of her life. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, the Altar-Rosary Society, KJZT Society No. 11, and the Catholic Daughters of America Court 829. Her husband, John Machovsky, died on Jan. 30, 1967. Mrs. Machovsky is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Frankie (Eleanor) Muehlstein of Abbott and Mrs. Evelyn Marak of West; three brothers, Louis Hykel of Abbott, Joe Hykel of Galveston, and Ed Hykel of West; three sisters, Mrs. Carolyn Janek and Mrs. Lillian Kudelka, both of Galveston, and Mrs. Julie Hrabal of Route 2, West; six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Pallbearers were L.A. Hykel, Jimmy Hykel, Ernest Cinek, Jerry Hykel, C.W. Hannes and Edw. Muehlstein.
