John Machovsky Dies; Services Held Wednesday John Machovsky, 75, of West died about 3:30 p.m. Monday. Requiem Mass was celebrated at noon Wednesday at St. Mary's Catholic Church of the Assumption. Rev. Jerry Smith was the celebrant. Burial was in St. Mary's Cemetery. Rosary was recited at 8:30 p.m. Tuesday at Kotch Funeral Home Chapel. Mr. Machovsky was born in Tours and had lived in the West and Tours area all his life. He was a retired farmer and a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church of the Assumption. He was a member of the Catholic Workman Lodge No. 77 of West. Survivors are his wife, Mary Machovsky of West; two daughters, Mrs. Arthur Marak of West and Mrs. Frankie Muehlstein of Abbott; two sisters, Mrs. Millie Hornak and Mrs. Rosie Kocuba, both of West; two brothers, Frank Machovsky of Abbott and Joe Machovsky of West; six grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Pallbearers were Clarence Hannes, Arnold Hajek, Joe Machovsky, Jr., Albert Hornak, all of West, Jimmie Hykel of Abbott, and Raymond Zapletal of Ennis.
