Requiem Mass Held Thurs. For Mrs. Will Kubala Mrs. Will (Emily) Kubala, 83, of West, died at 5 a.m. Tuesday in a West nursing home. Rosary was recited at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday at Kotch Funeral Home Chapel in West. Requiem mass was celebrated at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Mary's Catholic Church of the Assumption in West with Rev. Oliver Johnson as celebrant. Burial was in St. Mary's Cemetery. Mrs. Kubala was born in West and lived in the area all her life. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church of the Assumption and St. Mary's Rosary Society. Her husband died in 1957. Survivors include three sons, Willie Kubala and Eugene Kubala of Hillsboro, and Eddie Kubala of West; one daughter, Mrs. Willie (Bertha) Pustejovsky of West; three brothers, Vince Hutyra, Louis Hutyra and Emil Hutyra, all of West; four sisters, Mrs. Tom (Frances) Hlavenka and Mrs. Agnes Barton of West, and Mrs. Mary Kohut of Hillsboro; 14 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
