Requiem Mass Held Mon. For Mrs. Tom Hlavenka Mrs. Tom (Frances) Hlavenka, 71, of Route 2, West, died Friday afternoon at her home. Rosary was recited at 7:30 p.m. Sunday at Kotch Funeral Home Chapel in West. Requiem mass was celebrated at 9:30 a.m. Monday at St. Mary's Catholic Church of the Assumption, the Rev. George Doskocil was celebrant. Burial was in St. Mary's Cemetery. Mrs. Hlavenka was born in West and lived in the West area all her life. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church of the Assumption and of the Altar-Rosary Society of the church. She was a member of the SPJST Lodge No. 54 of West. She married Tom Hlavenka on March 3, 1919 at West. Survivors are one daughter, Mrs. Ernest (Lil) Kudelka of West; three sons, Alfred Hlavenka, Alvin Hlavenka, and Richard Hlavenka, all of West; three sisters, Mrs. Bertha McMillen, Bellmead, Mrs. Agnes Barton of West, and Mrs. Mary Kohut of Hillsboro; three brothers, Louis Hutyra, Vince Hutyra, and Emil Hutyra, all of West; six grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Pallbearers were Robert Hutyra, Joe Hutyra, Kenneth Kudelka, Tommy Hlavenka, Eddie Kubala, Emil Hutyra, Jr., Bill Hlavenka and Willie Kubala.
