Bio
Mrs. Willie (Bertha) Pustejovsky, age 80, of West died Wednesday afternoon, January 17, 1990 in a West nursing home. Rosary was recited at 7:30 p.m. Friday in Kotch Funeral Home Chapel by Msgr. George Doskocil. Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday in St. Mary's Catholic Church, with Rev. Ed Karasek as celebrant. Burial followed in St. Mary's Cemetery, West. Mrs. Pustejovsky was born on August 1, 1909 near West and had lived in the Penelope area for several years, returning to West in 1963. She married Willie Pustejovsky on November 8, 1933 in West. He died on December 6, 1985. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church. Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. C.W. (Margie) Cernosek of West; two brothers, Ed Kubala of West and Eugene Kubala of Hillsboro; seven grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. Pallbearers were grandsons, C.W. Cernosek, Jr., Richard Cernosek, Donald Cernosek, Tommy Bartosh, David Crain and Great-grandson, Corby LaCroix.
