Bio

William (W.J.) Kolar, 85, of Waco, a retired farmer, died Tuesday in a Waco hospital. Services will be at 9 a.m. Thursday at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Monsignor Ed Rabroker officiating. Burial will be in St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery in West. Rosary was recited at 8:30 p.m. Wednesday at Wilkerson and Hatch Funeral Home Chapel. Mr. Kolar was born in West and attended schools here. He married Mary Pustejovsky in 1921, and the couple farmed in Abbott and Waco until their retirement in 1960. Survivors include four daughters, Mrs. Lillie Mynar and Mrs. Mary Ann Cocek, both of West, Miss Bernadette Kolar of Waco and Mrs. Catherine Banek of Dallas; one son, Wesley Kolar of Waco; four sisters, Miss Carrie Kolar of Waco, Mrs. Annie Muehlstein of Stamford, Mrs. Agnes Divin of Hillsboro and Miss Wilma Kolar of Waco; two brothers, Albert Kolar of West and Johnny Kolar of Hillsboro, 19 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
