Carrie A. Kolar, age 92, of West, passed away Friday morning in West Community Hospital. Rosary was recited at 6:30 p.m. Sunday, by Msgr. George Doskocil, in Kotch Funeral Home Chapel, West. Mass of Christian burial was celebrated at 10 a.m. Monday in St. Mary's Catholic Church, West; with Rev. Earl Hedberg as celebrant. Burial followed in St. Mary's Cemetery, West. Miss Kolar was born April 19, 1898 in Hill County and had lived in West for the past 10 years. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in West, and had been a housekeeper for Rev. V.A. Svrcek for a number of years. She is survived by two brothers, Albert Kolar of West and J.V. Kolar of Hillsboro; three sisters, Anne Muehlstein of Stamford, Agnes Divin of Wimberly and Wilma Kolar of West. Pallbearers were Louis Kolar, Ernest Grmela, Joe Frank Divin, Robert Seith, Amos Cocek and Johnny Mynar. Kotch Funeral Home of West is in charge of arrangements.
