Ludvik and Agnes Karlik were the adoptive parents of Agnes (Kupcak/Karlik) Anderson . ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Services Held Thursday For Mrs. Karlik Mrs. L.D. (Anna) Karlik, 91, of West died Tuesday morning in a Waco hospital. Requiem mass was celebrated at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Rev. William Benish officiated. Burial was in St. Mary's Cemetery. Rosary was recited at 7 p.m. Wednesday at Kotch Funeral Home Chapel. Mrs. Karlik was born in Fayetteville and had lived in the West area most of her lifge. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church and the St. Mary's Altar Society. She also was a member of KJZT Society No. 11. Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Frank (Adela) Ondrej of West and Mrs. Elton (Agnes) Anderson of Brenham; two brothers, F.G. Gerik of West and Jim Gerik of Waco; three sisters, Mrs. Louis (Millie) Kallus of Chatt, Mrs. Eugene (Mary) Cocek and Mrs. George (Rosie) Lednicky, both of West; two grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Pallbearers were Bill Duncan, Elton Anderson, Jr., Jerry Cocek, Jerome Kallus, Charlie Ondrej and Freddie Gerik.
